Alma Mater Europaea - ECM invites you to information days and open for public days on 10 and 11 February 2017 in Maribor, Ljubljana, Murska Sobota, and Koper. Open days will be also happening in Maribor and Murska Sobota where future students will be able to learn about the Physical Therapy and Nursing programs.

Pilotproject INFLUENCE ON THE ELECTROMAGNETIC RADIATION ON ASTROCYTES successfully started

Research group of the pilot project “Influence of the electromagnetic radiation on astrocytes” that connects researchers from Alma Mater Europaea, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Medicine of the University of Maribor, Institute for biomedical sciences (University of Maribor) and the University of Niš (Serbia) published the results of the experimental research that took place at the Faculty of Medicine in Maribor between December 14 and 16, 2016.

Festive Senate meeting and two new Deans at Alma Mater

The Senate of Alma Mater Europaea – ECM hosted special guests at its Senate meeting on 20 October 2016; the retired Archbishop of Maribor, msgr. dr. Franc Kramberger, who recently celebrated his 80th birthday and the retired auxiliary bishop msgr. dr. Jožef Smej, who celebrated his 95th birthday.

International colloquium Arts and aesthetics in post-transition circumstances

The Slovene Association for aestetics organised together with Alma Mater Europaea - Institutum Studiorum Humanitatis and The Global Center for Advanced Studies the 44th international colloquium under the title “Arts and aesthetics in post-transition circumstances” that was held on 20 and 21 October 2016 in the premisses of Alma Mater in Ljubljana (Kardeljeva ploščad 1).
