EBS students visited Brussels


On Sunday, 18 January 2015, students of the European Business Studies (EBS) at the Alma Mater Europaea have returned from a three-day study visit in Brussels.

60 students of the EBS had attended a professional visit where they were introduced to the operation of European institutions. On Thursday, they have visited the European Parliament where they attended a lecture on the operation of the parliament. A visit to the Parlamentarium museum was next.

On Friday, EBS students were at the European Commission and attended the following introductory lessons: European Commission as an institution, EU Farming Policy, EU Competitive Politics, EU Expansions and Integration. Students acquired many useful information regarding practical work and traineeships in the European Commission. They concluded the evening by visiting the European People's Party. The following day was spent socialising and viewing the sights of Brussels, Atomium among others.
