This year and for the first time, Alma Mater Europaea is involved in co-organisation of the summer school in Toronto as an academic partner. The programme was accredited with 12 ECTS as studies abroad. There is also the possibility of applying for a scholarship at the Slovene Human Resources Development and Scholarship Fund. Students between 18 and 30 years of age can sign in the programme.
In the summer of 2015, the Toronto Business Academy summer school will be organised in Toronto. "It is a three-week intensive programme with advanced teaching methods which will combine individual and team work. Toronto Business Academy will take place from 25 July to 15 August" says David Aleš, one of the founders of the Academy. The subject to be performed is International Business Culture (60 hours) which is divided into 5 modules (Entrepreneurship, Innovation Topics, Business Communication Topics, Sales & Marketing Topics, Financing & Venture Capital Topics). Lectures will include numerous esteemed guests and company owners. The last week will be dedicated to corporate seminars and tours of numerous acclaimed companies, financial institutions, and corporations. Throughout the programme, the attendees will be preparing a business plan with a specific idea which will be presented at the end to a special committee of angel investors with whom they will also be able to discuss implementation.
The programme is intended for 50 ambitious students who wish to acquire additional experience abroad. More information and the application form are available at www.torontobusinessacademy.com. You can apply during the early registration (in this case the fee is lower) until:: 14 March 2015. We have prepared a special offer for students of Alma Mater Europaea.
