Alma Mater hosted the Ambassador of India

H.E. Sarvajit Chakravarti who spoke to the students about the origin and implementation of the Indian constitution.

Alma Mater Europaea – ECM has been developing academic ties with India and its universities and higher education institutions. H.E. Chakravarti also addressed the academic cooperation between Slovenia and India by saying that “the first cooperation agreements have been signed. They will enable academic cooperation and exchange between Alma Mater Europaea – ECM and Indian universities who have expressed a large interest in cooperation with such a high quality institution that also offers programs in the English language. There are enough students in India who are looking for new opportunities and studies abroad. We are confident that Alma Mater will soon open an office, and later a Campus in India. But before that, we will start with exchange of students and staff.” Out of curiosity: India has over 1.2 billion inhabitants and 837 universities.
