Maribor, 8th January 2016. Member of the European Parliament, Franc Bogovič, who is also a member of the Committee on Regional Development, visited Alma Mater Europaea – ECM today. Prof. Dr. Ludvik Toplak, the President of Alma Mater Europaea – ECM, explained the dimensions of AMEU, established under the patronage of the EASA.

On Thursday, the 7th January 2016, Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. Felix Unger, the President of the European Academy of Science and Arts and the President of Alma Mater Europaea of EASA participated at the Senate of Alma Mater Europaea – ECM. Members of the Senate and guests listened to the presentation of international dimensions of Alma Mater Europaea as Prof. Dr. Felix Unger underlined the importance of the Slovene division AMEU – ECM, which includes the Dance Academy and ISH – Institutum Studiorum Humanitatis in Ljubljana.

This year and for the first time, Alma Mater Europaea is involved in co-organisation of the summer school in Toronto as an academic partner. The programme was accredited with 12 ECTS as studies abroad. There is also the possibility of applying for a scholarship at the Slovene Human Resources Development and Scholarship Fund. Students between 18 and 30 years of age can sign in the programme.
